Edinburgh Kendo Club is a dedicated and friendly Kendo club in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are serious and commited to the study, practice, and promotion of the Japanese fencing art of Kendo.

Equipment (adults info)
Shinai (bamboo sword) – Cost: £18-30
Dogi (uniform) – not required (allowed) for a couple of months with costs vary tremendously, a cheap-good set costs £40
Bogu (armour) – not needed for at least 6 months with the cheapest start at approx £300
We have a few sets of club armour available for that ‘transition’ period.
